Amazon Gibson Guitar Deals At The Best Prices

Amazon.com is offering the best choice of great Gibson guitars at year-end prices all year-long

Amazon.com is one of the best places to shop for Gibson guitars with discounts up to 40% and the choice of all the best guitar stores.

At this link they list the Gibson guitars at more than 50% off.  Gibson electrics at more than 25% off are listed here.

Amazon.com sells guitars on-line for more than 50 guitar stores like Musicians Friend, Music 123, Sam Ash, American Music Supply and Same Day Music, plus their own of Gibson guitars they stock.

When you check out the Gibson guitars at Amazon.com, you are comparing the stock and prices across most of the guitar sellers in the United States.

Like most people with GAS – guitar acquisition syndrome – I check guitar prices compulsively. A few months ago, the ground shifted and Amazon.com became a hub for finding great guitars at the lowest price.

The Amazon.com advantage

The Gibson guitars sold on Amazon.com are the same great Gibson’s that everyone carries backed by the best delivery, warranty and returns policies in the business from Amazon.com.

Amazon.com publishes customers rating of the guitars and the different vendors.

I’ve bought guitars online and from local and chain music stores. The only differences are price and availability. With 51 stores to choose from, no one has the same selection and price checking.

The only thing Amazon.com does not have is the fun of trying out guitars off the rack. However, you always get the feeling that the price is too high in retail.

Guitars are made of wood and steel and can get out of adjustment. Most local guitar stores will do a setup but cannot afford to compete on price.

However, box music stores do not touch new guitars. They take them out of the box, put them on the rack and sell them.  Period. Service means sending the guitar back to Gibson, Fender or whomever made it. In the old days, the guitar stores had a luthier on staff. Only specialty stores have that service anymore.

I like to buy a quality guitar at the best price, break it in by playing it, then take it to a trusted luthier for adjustment. The dealers don’t adjust them so setup by a luthier has to happen anyway.

The quality of a manufactured guitar from Gibson, Fender, Martin these days is second to none. This is the golden age of guitars.  Most of the parts are computer cut and then hand assembled. The finishing is done by partially by computer, like the painting. The guitars are tested with computerized gear. Despite the nostalgia for old gear, the 50s and 60s guitars were highly variable in quality and not that great.

Amazon.com is the top online vendor

It took more than a decade for other online vendors to work with Amazon.com. At this point, anyone who runs their own online sales is probably an amateur.  Amazon.com has the best computer cloud services and sell that service to companies who can’t invest the billions on software and systems development.

Amazon has the best internet sales system with choice, price, customer service and community. You can return stuff to Amazon.com for almost any valid reason. Once I double ordered a Bob Dylan CD. They took it back and paid the freight.

Almost anything people want is sold on Amazon.com. In musical instruments that literally means from strings to high-end recording gear, Amazon.com has it. They work hard to deliver the best choice of products at the best prices. For any given item that means the choice of several vendors and used as well as new units.
