iHeartRadio Festival performance is all personal warmth, talent and electrifying performance for America’s Sweetheart Taylor Swift
On Saturday night in Vegas Taylor Swift lit up the crowd for the iHeartRadio Festival with an electrifying and personal performance.
Watch her entrance from the back of the crowd as she sings “Sparks Fly” and weaves her way through the audience touching and shaking hands with her audience.
She is an artist who loves her audience and they give back the love big time. You can watch the 28-minute show, minus wardrobe malfunction, on YouTube for free.
“Sparks Fly” Taylor Swift intro to iHeartRadio Festival
I cannot remember an artist since Garth Brooks who worked the audience in a large venue better than Taylor Swift.
As his career peaked, Garth Brooks seemed a little forced, phony even in his audience rapport.
With Taylor Swift it’s all genuine.
Taylor Swift loves her audience. No artist shakes that many hands on their way to the stage and goes out of her way to touch people. Only body surfing could be more tactile.
The performance, which you can watch free either on YouTube or iHeartRadio, is flawless. Taylor Swift carries off her songs with style and tremendous stage presence. She mixes old favorites for her country fans with the more pop sounding “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
Taylor Swift is exciting. At some points, I could feel the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I didn’t intend to watch the whole video but could not quit. The show is better than I have seen her before.
Apparently she had a wardrobe problem after “Sparks Fly” which is why she is not wearing the golden dress at the next song. No problem, Taylor Swift shines through these incidents on her own.
The show ends with a stage performance of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” that recreates the video for the song off her new CD “Red”. The stage fills with the party scene including the furry animal costumes. It’s priceless.
