At the Cross
Christ didn’t die in vain; He cleansed my deepest stain,
My life that I might gain, that day at Calvary.
How long it took to see, what Jesus did for me,
From sin He set me free, on a cross at Calvary.
I can’t imagine why, anyone would die,
For a sinner such as I, on a cross at Calvary.
Although I’m not the same, I hang my head in shame,
To reflect upon His name and the cross at Calvary.
