“Where Are You Now” from the SXSW Premier of Big Easy Express
Mumford and Sons sang Where Are You Now at the world premiere of the movie Big Easy Express in Austin, Texas on March 17, 2012.
The film follows three bands in a train ride from California to New Orleans, The Big Easy.
“3 bands, 6 cities, 1 train, and thousands of miles of track…BIG EASY EXPRESS captures an incredible musical journey. Harkening back to the days of jubilant railroad revivals, of steam and steel, three bands set out in April 2011 to tour America by vintage train. L.A.’s Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Nashville boys Old Crow Medicine Show, and Londoners Mumford & Sons climbed aboard amid the massive rail yards of Oakland and set out for New Orleans on a “tour of dreams.”” Big Easy Express
The film is awaiting general distribution and should be showing throughout North America in the months ahead. Considering the immense popular following of Mumford and Sons, the producers would be smart to release the film sooner than later.
