Holiday weekend brought some heat and crowds

The Canada Day weekend turned the heat on for Islanders as they enjoyed 27 C. sunny weather and humidity that made it feel warmer like 32 C.

There were Canada Day festivities all over PEI with the events starting in Tignish. Islanders know that having a Federal MP in your riding has its perks. Fireworks were the rage from Tignish to Souris. Did you know the Rustico fireworks attracts 1os of thousands.

Bring on the summer and let it stay till Fall.

Some rain forecast this week but the lawns, gardens and farmer’s fields need it.
