Is MicroAge Charlottetown in receivership

Clients were told business in receivership come back Monday

Clients who went to Charlottetown Queen Street based Microage were told today the business was in receivership.

Apparently the former owner, Harry O’Connell, had placed the business in receivership. O’Connell sold the business a year and a half ago. The dispute is over unpaid rent with the new owners. O’Connell was not available for comment. He was said to be out of the country for the week.

Clients who had property on site were being told to come back Monday at 11 AM to claim their assets.

MicroAge Charlottetown was owned by Oakwood Enterprises Inc. which lists Harry O’Connell as the only shareholder and director. Oakwood is the owner of the location on Queen Street.
