Daniel Lanois says it’s rough, but I think I’ll be okay

Daniel Lanois has started to tweet his fans from iPhone. “Feel pretty good considering.”

“Thanks for all of the phone calls, texts, emails, tweets, and facebook messages. Dan has been receiving them and is thankful for all the well wishes.

He is in good spirits, and is expected to make a full recovery.  He is back at the helm thanks to technology, finishing some important work.” (Black Dub Collective)

Los Angeles, CA – Esteemed producer and artist Daniel Lanois was involved in a motorcycle accident Saturday, June 5th in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles, CA. Lanois suffered multiple injuries but is expected to be released from intensive care soon.

Due to the severity of the injuries, Lanois has canceled all upcoming tour dates and promotional activity and will be recuperating for the next two months.

Recently signed Jive Records artist Black Dub, led by Daniel Lanois and featuring Trixie Whitley and Brian Blade, will release their debut album when circumstances permit.

More news is always coming around the corner so stay tuned, the band is eager to hit the road and will do so as soon as possible.
