Will Yves-François Blanchet grant Pierre Elliot Trudeau’s last wish?

In response to a question from MLA Mike Currie (Conservative), Innovation Minister Alan Campbell said that along with the $600,000 being advanced to Cavendish Farms other business could apply for training funds.

The Province is taking over training programs from Service Canada (Federal) which would provide additional training funds from the Province.

The total spending on training was not going up. The Province will be managing the Federal program in 2010 and onward.
