Will Yves-François Blanchet grant Pierre Elliot Trudeau’s last wish?

PEI Minister Gerard Greenan suggests PEI may regulate retail and Internet gift cards.

Regulations may control refunds, fees and expiry dates. He is asking for written submissions from the public.

The process for making submissions will be posted on the Consumer website

Greenan, one of our more timid ministers, is remembered for paying Myrtle Jenkins Smith $100,000 to write a report justifying the closure of rural schools. Here he strikes out boldly with MJS in tow.
