This unsigned video tribute was posted on LiveLink by agharazi. You can freely share it. The touching tribute is for a young woman shot down in the street apparently by the paramilitary Basij.

Neda Agha-Soltan continues to be an authentic hero and symbol of young and old Iranians who struggle for freedom and democracy.

Her body was never returned to the family for a burial. The family was forced from their home according the the Guardian.co.uk

President Ahmadinejad has called for an investigation into her death. Ahmadinejad is the official winner of the recent election that sparked all the protests. Opposition politicians and the public started street demonstrations that have killed dozens of Iranians including Neda Agha-Soltan. No official death toll has been published.

The Iranian government has tried to contain the protests and the world wide horror over the death of Neda Agha-Soltan. Her family were not allowed to mourn her death publicly, forced to flee the area and neighbors were warned by the secret police not to discuss her death.

The announcement by Iranian President Ahmadinejad of an inquiry is a blatant attempt to cover up the Basij’s and hence the government’s role in the deaths.
