This morning we received a spam comment on NJN Network that looked suspicious since the first part of the web address was a professor at the University of Virginia, Kevin Skadron Associate Professor of Computer Science. The link is trying to sell Viagra, phentermine (sic) among other drugs. We sent Professor Skadron and the website admin an email asking them to check it out. Looks like a worm or trojan horse has embedded itself on the university computers. We’ll get back to you. Russian hackers are especially active this week. One sys admin admitted receiving up to 80 attack emails an hour from Russian addresses. Shields up gentlemen!
