PEI Tourism add says visit La Louvre in Paris

Or at least the new AGO in Toronto

The first time I watched the new PEI tourism commercials I got the twinge.

It was a small twinge.

Then I watched the ads again to do a story and later the twinge got stronger.

It was like hunger when you don’t know what you want to eat.

Yesterday I browsed Ruk’s site C’est pour ouvrir?. I know what I want.

I want to go to La Louvre in Paris France to see the best art in the world. I want to look at real paintings by Renoir, Gauguin, Matisse, Van Gogh. I want to stare at the Mona Lisa. To walk through Egyptian antiquities from the time of Moses.

I didn’t want to visit PEI.

If those crazy people from the PEI tourism commercial try running through La Louvre, the guards will stop them and ask them to leave.

If I can’t afford to go there, perhaps the new AGO in Toronto, Ontario will satisfy the craving. Now I’m in trouble. Before the ads I was content to stay on PEI without traveling this year. Now, despite the recession I want to go.
