By Stephen Pate – Regina Spektor is back with her new song “Black and White” from her album ‘Remember Us To Life‘ available September 30th.
“Black and White” is a slow, sad ballad with strings and piano unlike anything Regina Spektor has done yet.
All my love
In black and white

Sad sad eyes
Know too much
You will always start to cry
You can pre-order Remember Us to Life (Deluxe) today from Amazon or Apple iTunes.
It’s been 4 years since Regina Spektor released What We Saw From The Cheap Seats. Since then the popular Russian American artist has taken time off to start a family. She got married in 2011 and had a son in March 2014.
I’m a big Regina Spektor fan. She’s super talented and a great sense of humor and range of emotions.
Black and White is a sad slow song with her expressive voice over sad love lyrics. There are none of the playful humor that filled her earlier songs.
Lyrics:
All my love
In black and white

Sad sad eyes
Know too much
You will always start to cry
Why should I wait for tomorrow,
Why should I wait for tomorrow…
When you left
I closed the door
Closed my eyes
Sat on the floor
Heart beat fast
Mind got slow
This great love is all I know
Why should I wait for tomorrow
Why should I wait for tomorrow…
All my love
In black and white
On this faded photograph
Sad sad eyes
Know too much
You will always start to cry
You will always start to cry… (Copyright Regina Spektor/Warner)
