Thanks to photographers Kathy Fortier, Andrea Orlandi, and Paolo Brillo who attended the SRO nights with Bob Dylan at The Beacon and took these exclusive photographs. Obviously they defied the photo ban and got some excellent shots.
Some of these pictures are amazingly clear, despite Dylan’s proclivity for low stage lighting. Fans immediately recognize Dylan. He is still charismatic after all these years. Some things never change.
Rolling Stone Magazine wrote “At the final performance of his five-night stand at New York’s Beacon Theatre – his amazing 91st show of the year – Dylan sounded magnificent. He was expressive, clear, articulate, intensely focused and visibly pleased. Without a doubt, it was the most enjoyable Dylan concert in recent memory.”
Nancy wrote on boblinks “From attending 4 shows and reading reviews of many others it is clear that Bob Dylan and his band have provided the fans with a spectacular experience maybe even a masterpiece of a tour. The single set list has elements of blues jazz old time country Latin as well as classic rock in various permutations within and between concerts. All the venues have comfortable intimate settings with excellent acoustics to highlight Dylan’s voice, harp, and piano as well as the other instruments.”
Bob Dylan just released the 1967 The Basement Tapes Complete: The Bootleg Series Vol. 11(Deluxe Edition) or Amazon.ca in Canada which his fans have asked for since the 1970s.
Dylan traditionally ends his touring year in New York City then takes the winter off. The Never Ending Tour is expected to begin again in March or April of 2015.
