Windows Phone owners will get an extra 20 GB of SkyDrive cloud storage free for a year, sweet
If you haven’t increased your SkyDrive from the basic 7 GB free, your storage will be increased to 27 GB if you apply.
Windows Phone owners can consume large amounts of SkyDrive storage if they automatically save all phone pictures and to SkyDrive.
I do that because it’s convenient to have the Camera Roll available on my computer without connecting the phone by USB cable and the backup is a good safety precaution. If you take a lot of pictures in a single session, it takes a while to sync with SkyDrive. They are available faster by connecting with the USB cable.
After a year of taking pictures and videos, I had upped my storage to 107 GB so no I have 127 GB.
The Holiday gift comes in the form of an email. You click on the link and a redeem code gets applied to your account.
