Lady Danville have a pretty sweet party night in “Better Side.”
The LA indie band Lady Danville has released their official video for ‘Better Side’ from the new EP “Operating”.
It’s an easy poppy song helped along by the carefree night out video with a twist. Bingo night at the seniors club meets Cocoon.
The band has a fresh sound with keyboards, lots of harmony and up-beat feel.
“With Michael Garner on keys, Matthew Frankel on percussion, and Dan Chang on the guitar LADY DANVILLE is most recognized for their well-crafted harmonies, thoughtful lyrics and refreshing dose of energy, wit and charm, evoking the sound of Simon and Garfunkel meets Death Cab for Cutie.”
They’ve been together since 2007 and have 2 EPs released. A full CD is in the works.
In 2007, they won the Star 98.7 Lounge Contest with “Tired Magician”, which is featured on the Star Lounge Compilation CD including John Mayer, Maroon 5, Pink and Nelly Furtado.
Lady Danville recently toured with the very hip Ben Folds, nice company.
I like the sound and the video. Fresh.
