22 Minutes contest has $11,000 first prize

I was splitting my sides laughing after this week’s episode of 22 Minutes

The show is getting funnier despite being in its thousandth season. Eat your heart out Carl Reiner.

Flushed with optimism, I jumped on my computer and entered their Facebook Movember contest.

It’s one of those crazy things you do for fun not the prize. Grow a mustache and take your picture. 

OK maybe growing a mustache for ladies is not fun but for guys it carries a feeling of joie de vivre, even if your girlfriend disapproves.

Then I hit the Contest Rules. For a fun loving bunch of people, they’ve come up with a mind numbing 3046 words on 9 pages. Lawyers are at work here folks.

I skipped to the good part – the prizes.

“There is one prize available to be won consisting of a trophy and trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia and has approximate retail prize value of $11,100.”

That must be one awesome trophy or we’ll be partying like Newfoundlanders that weekend in Halifax.
