Why is Steve Jobs such a jackass in failing to respond as bad press piles up?

Stodgy old Consumer Reports is putting the heat on Apple and we’ll hear tomorrow at their exclusive media only press conference how Apple will respond. This should have been solved a month ago by Apple when the tech press and bloggers discovered the iPhone 4 antenna could be damped by holding it one way or another. Of course, Steve Jobs as dictator doesn’t like public feedback on his “One Worldview”. He reminds me of an aging dictator (Castro ?) who knows best. What’s hard to fathom is the amount of mac fanboy attention to a company that doesn’t want to openly communicate. Android phone makers are laughing all the way to the bank on this gaffe by Jobs.  Consumer Reports gives iPhone 4 the dreaded Non Recommended
