Last night we moved NJN Video from Network Solutions to a new host with almost perfect success. As a bonus the new site is blazing fast.
NJN Video is were we host videos that, ahem, are not always appreciated elsewhere. NJN is known to be a tad controversial by times.
There are only half of the existing catalog published because we had zero confidence in Network Solutions. It’s no use putting videos up and having the site go down from malware attacks.
The new site is working well, after some transitional glitches. Like at 10 pm last night all the videos wouldn’t work. It was wrong address pointer we had to fix by hand.
The new address to bookmark is www.njnvideo.com. If you bookmarked the site before, delete that one and add www.njnvideo.com
More than 90% of the videos are working and the last few I hope to fix tonight.
Load times are now less than 2 seconds which is awesome for a WordPress video site. That’s about the same as YouTube. We are working on autoplay to save one last click.
