The story gets an update in a BBC / PBS documentary
The BBC and PBS have prepared a documentary on Neda Agha-Soltan, the young girl who was shot in cold blood on the streets of Tehran by the Basij. It answers many of the questions posed by the tragic death. Was she an innocent bystander caught up in protest? Was she part of a CIA plot to destabilize the government of Iran?
It is riveting to watch, an example of the best in video journalism. We may agree or not agree with its conclusions but it helps to fill in the blanks on this tragedy that is more than one woman’s death.
