What’s with that eh?

When The Matrix opened at the IMAX in Halifax, NS the boys and I jumped into the SUV and headed off on a 4 hour drive to see it. One of the boys just called me up and said “Dad, let’s go to see Matrix in IMAX!”

And we did. It was awesome. The trip was one of those spontaneous fun adventures.

I was inches away from ending a 23 year marriage back in 2003, which is long past. I got my officials “free” papers this year.

So today and I mean this very day, Avatar opens in Halifax NS in IMAX 3D.

I ran the idea of a movie run to Halifax up the mizzen mast. It met the unequal response of “We’re not ready for Christmas.”

What’s to get ready? Shopping can wait until next Friday. A tree is like 30 minutes from the box. Real smart people have the turkey dinner at Fran’s in Toronto where they clean up afterward. Or they get invited to someone else’s house.
