Murdoch says I don’t need Google
The big talk from old media is paywalls. Unused to the new business model and bleeding money from the neck, newspapers and other media outlets are threatening to put up paywalls.
With a paywall site, it’s like Internet porn. The tease with a few clips but want to to subscribe to get the full meal deal.
Fox owner Rupert Murdoch is so convinced paywalls are the way of the future he is going to pull out of Google Search. That might be a lot of brave talk. Google has about 60% market share in search engines in the USA.
