Webby Talents is infected with HTML:IFrame-ER trojan one of the risks of being off YouTube
Webbytalents.com is infected with the HTML:IFrame-ER trojan. The site promotes itself as a place for the disabled to post their videos about themselves. Until the site owners have totally cleaned the infected site, users are warned to stay away.
The HTML:IFrame-ER has the potential to use your computer as a host for relaying the trojan or other nefarious activities. It was picked up by Avast and Avira, which are both free virus checkers.
With Avast, the connection was aborted by the virus program. Your software may operate differently.
If you have visited the WebbyTalents site, get your virus checker updated and deep scan your computer.
We have alerted the site owner and contacts and will report back what they tell us.
For a comment on how to dis-infect the site and your computer in WordPress sites check out HTML:Iframe-inf wordpress Infection by Fields Marshall.
With the free service and community of YouTube, it’s hard to understand why risk a virus on a small independent site. If the disabled want a wide audience for their videos, there is no better place than YouTube. Even the White House uses it.
