We’re lucky that Rob Oakie loves us so much to give his time to fly first class out to Vancouver, putting up with spring and no snow, stay first class because it’s close to the parties and get room service in the morning.
It’s great that he can improve his knowledge of PEI musicians so far from home and it only costs $10,000. That would make a decent CD for some artist – or half of 10 bad 4 song demo CD’s – on PEI but who cares?
Oakie’s not in the game to spread the money around. It’s a junket and all the politicos love them. Oakie is a wannabe everything – musician, jurist, director, Mr. Big Shit around little Charlottetown. Don’t tell me he took a bed mate! I don’t want to know.
