We touch iPhone’s and other screens: why do we need a keyboard to navigate especially on the Internet? Windows 7 will have touch screen and Microsoft is already showing cool photo manipulation with two fingers. It’s way more intuitive than mouse clicks. A tablet computer with touch screen can work on your fridge door, on the kitchen counter or on the table to catch up on the news over breakfast.
“The cost and weight of that class of computer is now dropping,” Craig Mundie said. “The ability to comfortably hold them and operate them with your other hand will just be a lot better than it has been in the last few years, when they were still a bit too bulky.” ComputerWorld Mundie is Microsoft’s chief research and strategy officer.
