Susan Boyle, super artist with a learning disability

Quinn Bradlee published a story yesterday revealing that Susan Boyle, the international sensation, has a learning disability.

She can be so much of an inspiration to all of us. After reading the story about her and learning that she has learning disabilities, and then watching her performance on Britain’s Got Talent I believe that I have learned the definition of inspiration: When you are thought of less by another and then you overpower the prejudices of your critic’s close mindedness.

Quinn is the son of famous Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee and Sally Quinn. Bradlee, already a famed editor, became even more famous when he sponsored the Woodward Bernstein team that uncovered Watergate and Richard Nixon’s criminal conspiracy. Quinn has written openly about his life with a learning disability.
