Sixteen year veteran of Freddie Mac, the largest US home mortgagor, David Kellerman ended his life by his own hand early this morning
With a story from WTOP.com
Police found Kellerman hanging in the lower level of his $900,000 home in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Kellerman, 41 years old, had been appointed CFO after Anthony “Buddy” Piszel resigned. Other high lever defections from Freddie Mac include ex-CEO David Moffett who left last month.
Freddie Mac, a government controlled corporation, is one of the principal instigators of the sub-prime mortgage crisis that precipitated the current world wide recession. Freddie Mac controls or guarantees mortgages for 13,000,000 US homes.
Kellerman is survived by a wife and daughter.
No one saw Kellerman’s suicide coming according to early reports. Kellerman did ask for guards to be posted outside his tony home after declaring executives of the failed Freddie Mac would get bonuses. This move was seen as typical of the entitlement American executives expected despite their deplorable performances.
Freddie Mac was cited for reckless business practices that plunged the US into crisis. Kellerman was responsible for financial policies, budgets, controls, reporting and oversight.

I’m not too upset when I see these types offing themselves, though it would have been more satisfying to see this guy flipping burgers at McDonalds.
So many of us struggle to keep food on our tables and this joker got a $800,000 bonus?!?!
To make matters worse, his undeserved bonus was funded by the government bailout!
Too bad he couldn’t have done this before his bonus.
Most Americans will never see that kind of money in their entire life.
Wouldn’t it be nice if the government bailed out the common folk?

It never works that way.

‘Glad he did it/got what he deserved’ aside, he left behind a wife and child.
It’s cavalier to joke about his suicide, but let’s be civilized. A kid is going to grow up without a father.
And while I know, he was a bad guy for his part in the mortgage kerfuffle, his wife and child are innocent and are suffering too.
Receipt: 2centavos.

It all sounds fishy to me.
The 911 call came in at 4:48 AM.
So, what’s his wife doing up, that early in the morning?
It was stated he was found hanging down stairs inside of a closet.
If his wife woke up and went looking around the house for him, it seems odd that she would have been looking for him inside a basement closet.
I would like to know what drugs were in his system?
I would like to know what was going on in his business life and personal life that would have driven him to take his own life?
After stating executives would be getting bonuses, he asked for guards to be placed outside his home.
There has to be a reason he felt the need to have guards for his protection.
He must have received at least one threat, to have requested guards at his home.
If in fact, there was someone who threatened him, it was most likely someone who was wealthy, someone who has money.
In fact, if the person who threatened him has money, he could easily have paid off a guard to have the guard look the other way, while they slipped in and then hung him down stairs in a basement closet.
This story of him hanging himself, just has too many loop holes, there’s more to it than that.
Did he have a girl friend?
Did he have a child with another woman?
Was he gay?
Could there have been a motive for his wife to be up at 4:48 AM to make the 911 call?
Could his wife have had a lover?
Could she have asked for a divorce?
There’s something more to this story.
Had his hands been tied?
Is there a forensic team looking at all of this?
Was he drugged first then pulled into the closet and hung by someone?
What kind of day did he have that day?
There has to be more to this story, a lot more.
If in fact he took his own life, there had to be something deeply emotional that was troubling him.
If his wife was taking their daughter and leaving him, this could have been a factor to bring on such an event.
There just has to be more than what we know now.

The Taliban were involved?
What a scoop!
