Almost 20 years in country has proven Tim McGraw as solid country

Today is the last day before ticket go on sales for the Cavendish Beach Music Festival . I’m running an unofficial poll. Who are you more interested in seeing: Reba or Tim? My Hannah, almost 14, says she’ll die if she gets Tim McGraw’s autograph. Reba McEntire’s fans are pretty solid for her too. We’re counting clicks. Which story gets more clicks? I’m going to get it over with and post My Little Girl right away to keep this story straight. It’s the hit song from the movie Flicka that McGraw sings and starred in. My Hannah is in love with Tim McGraw. We saw the movie together and I cried. She cried. We cried together. Every dad knows that feeling, his little girl grows up and it tears at his heart. I have five little girls and only two left at home.

That’s the appeal of Tim McGraw. He’s a great country singer, gives his fans a super stage performance, is a pretty decent actor in other films like Friday Night Lights and The Kingdom. His fans span young people to old timers like me. We’ll be in Cavendish on Saturday, July 11, 2009 for the music and the autograph. Here’s some concert footage of his signature song “Indian Outlaw”.
