A modern love song
I wanted to send you a poem
About things here at my home
The router wouldn’t go through
I could send nothing to you
Next wouldn’t it be my luck
To fall under neath a truck
Whilst walking on the bottom
Of the sea grabbed a fish got’em
I tripped over a railroad sign
Happens under water everytime
Wiped my glasses to see
If it was 192.168.1 1 or 3
Called the operator dial 9
She refused to give the time
She looked and said it was 1
Punch it in and be done.
So I clicked into the router your name
Even though the instructions were lame
Waters were parted, back where I started
Your email went woosh like a flame
I can write without verse
But to it you may be averse
My timing would be worse
Reminding you of your diverse.
