It’s been 286 days since the Disability Support Program budget was cut by $1 million.
It’s been 42 days since the cutbacks were exposed in the Legislature and on TV.
It’s been 28 days since the cutbacks were acknowledged by Minister Chester Gillan.
I’m a little discouraged by Chester Gillan. Last Friday in the Guardian he did his Racehorse Haynes routine. I call him the King of Denial. It could be that he is just not in the loop anymore, kind of a lame duck Minister.
Despite the denials, I think we are making progress. If you have sent any emails to the good folks in the Government, don’t stop now. If you didn’t click on their adress, please do it. They only respond to public opinion at this point. Cheers.
