Swift has totally crossed over winning Top Country and Top Artist in the same year.

Mumford and Sons CD “Babel” is the big winner of the Grammys with a sales increase of more than 50% according to Soundscan and 394% for the song “I Will Wait” on 7Digital.

In social media, NextBigSound reported that Bruno Mars saw the biggest increase with 125K Twitter new followers and 1.7 million new YouTube views from February 8-10. Continue reading →

Mumford and Sons won the 2012 Grammy Award for Album of the Year for “Babel” and Best Long Form Music Video for “Big Easy Express” with Old Crow Medicine Show and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

Mumford and Sons were also top performers on the 55th Grammy Awards show blowing the doors off the Staples Center with a rousing “I Will Wait” from “Babel”. They were so hot that Taylor Swift was singing along in the audience.

“Big Easy Express” is a great music film about Mumford and Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

I reviewed the iTunes version of “Big Easy Express last year. “I did not want the movie to end,” I wrote at the time.
