Matthew and Sid Biberman visited Chicago for the show on June 19th-21st, and were able to spend some time at my shop meeting people and signing books, etc.

It is a visit I will never forget, for several reasons. As Glenn Shriver put it, I got to “sit at the feet of the master” for a while. What capped it all off however, was the opportunity to be the 6th person ever to ride their Vincati.

To say I was giddy at the opportunity would be a massive understatement. When Matt offered, I said “ I will ride it… so be careful what you offer. I ride everything I get offered”.

He appeared unfazed, or at least did a damn good job pretending. As part of my job I get to ride seemingly everything, new and old. The ‘catch twenty-two’ is that I no longer get very excited by much.

He moved his entire staff, he moved his family to LA. And five months later, they repay him like this?

The New York Post reports that Conan O’Brien is ready to bolt NBC after the rough treatment he got this weekend.

“This level of sh- – -iness was not expected,” one source said.”

“He’s done a great job for NBC. He moved his entire staff, he moved his family to LA. And five months later, they repay him like this?”

“As it stands now, the source said, “Conan would be happier somewhere else.”

It was rumored on Thursday that NBC was canceling the 10 PM prime time Jay Leno Show and moving it back to 11:35 but only for 30 minutes. Conan O’Brien would then be moved to 12:05 to start The Tonight Show like tomorrow.

NBC is an cheap attempt to get publicity took all weekend to confirm the TMZ story that the prime time Leno show is out, Leno moves back to 11:35 PM and Conan is up in the air.

The whole episode got more airplay than anything…well excepting Letterman’s roving hands.

“The Jay Leno Show” will end with the Feb. 12 start of the prime-time Winter Olympics coverage, said NBC Universal Television Entertainment Chairman Jeff Gaspin.”

“Gaspin said he wants O’Brien, another Bay State-bred funnyman, to retain his job with “Tonight” but at the later hour of 12:05 a.m. Under that scenario, Jimmy Fallon and his “Late Night” show would be pushed a half-hour later as well, to 1:05 a.m.”

NBCs rumored changes to the tonight show have the pundits abuzz with speculation. Jay’s back and Conan’s drifting. The Leno haters are out in full-force. Jay takes little notice of them and started on the 7th show that night with sheer mockery of NBC.

TMZ released today that Jay is back at 11:30 PM and Conan is…

They better give Jay back the full band. Five people is pretty light. And he needs more joke writers. Some nights he has been pretty thin.

But Jay is the man we love to lull ourselves to sleep with. Star TV better put him back on the one-day replay at 11 pm.

TMZ “We’ve learned Jay’s 10:00 PM show will go on hiatus February 1. After the Olympics, Jay will take back his 11:30 PM time slot. What has not been decided — whether Jay’s show will be a half hour, followed by Conan, or whether Jay’s show will be an hour and NBC says sayonara to Mr. O’Brien. We’re told Jay and Conan have both been told of the changes. As for Jay, interestingly, he’ll get what he always wanted — his 11:30 PM time slot.”

Lady Gaga’s new song is pure studio material with heavy beatz but they gave it a great workout on Jan Leno.

Leno is where the bands go to sound bad but lately things are getting better.

There is no way the band is those three guys behind her but who cares? She sings some if not all of it.
