He can ace the electrified Chicago blues of Sonny Boy Williamson and Muddy Waters along their southern roots in the Mississippi delta and zydeco.

The Joe Murphy Blues Revue kept the heat on Friday night in the CBC tent on the Halifax waterfront.

The mostly over 40 crowd danced the night away like teenagers.

The audience was treated to everything from Zydeco, Chicago blues, boogie woogie, to Texas blues and a stunning chorus line.   Continue reading →
