Walk About At Chicago Music Exchange An Awesome Guitar Store

Chicago Music Exchange

Premiere Guitar’s walk about takes 36 minutes – sit back and enjoy

By Stephen Pate – Chicago Music Exchange is an iconic guitar store dedicated to some of the coolest used, vintage and new guitars in the world.

I was lucky enough to spend a Saturday there back in the 1990s and everyone can see the story upfront thanks to Premiere Guitar and their video.

The store has a deep collection of Gibson, Fender and odd guitars that with something for every taste. If you go there they will let you play almost any guitar including a ’52 Les Paul Goldtop and other vintage Les Paul’s.

The first guitar they talk about is the ’52 Les Paul Goldtop, the iconic Les Paul but a little hard to play with the weird string-under bridge.

I found the 60th anniversary reissue of the Gibson Les Paul 60th Anniversary at LA Music recently. For the 60th Anniversary, Gibson fixed the bridge by putting the strings over and correcting the neck angle. The model is probably the last new one of the reissue still available, certainly the only one I ever found.

Sit back, put the video on full screen and have fun ogling over all these great guitars.

Chicago Music Exchange sells guitars over the internet and on Chicago Music Exchange on Amazon.com so their cool guitar inventory is available wherever you live. The Exchange has awesome customer service and Amazon.com adds their extra level of customer care.

Chicago Music Exchange is also the home of cool guitar videos including the famous 100 Riffs (A Brief History of Rock N’ Roll), now over 11 million views.

You can never have enough guitars can you?
