By Stephen Pate – Bob Dylan is releasing an album of Sinatra cover songs Shadows in the Night – Bob Dylan on iTunes January 30, 2015. That date is 4 days earlier than general release, another iTunes advantage.

Apple iTunes just announced their pre-release of “Shadows in the Night” includes an instant download of the song “Full Moon and Empty Arms” which has been previewed on the Bob Dylan website.

The song is a lovely ballad with Hawaiian guitar backing, chorded guitar and Dylan singing in his best ballad voice.

I don’t think covering Sinatra is a good idea. Just saw Al Green and he said he’s doing the same thing next year…at least “Autumn Leaves”.
