Fave song of Early Dylan, would have to be “Baby Let Me Follow You Down” as it shows the real springboard-framework for his works to come.

It was very nicely transformed by the Band at the Royal (festival) Albert Hall 66 show.

I love the clever simplicity of it.

This is a hard question tho’…many other pieces come to mind.

Joel, I have that on video but Web Sheriff watches me like a hawk and posting Dylan is a zero sum game these days. Second best is the awesome performance with The Band in 1976 in the movie The Last Waltz.

When I was in Expecting Rain (2004) a Dylan cover band, this medley with Forever Young was a favorite of mine but disliked by the lead guitarist so it didn’t get  aired enough.  Awesome riff G G F G.
