Recovered from his motorcycle accident Lanois puts on video and live show in Nathan Phillips Square

Daniel Lanois was true to his promise. Despite his motorcycle accident in June, he was recovered enough to perform both a video show and live at Toronto’s Nuit Blanche. Nuit Blanche is also held in Montreal, Paris, Brussels and London.

Nuit Blanche is an sunrise to sunset celebration of contemporary art. This year marks Toronto’s fifth Nuit Blanche. Patrons wandered around 130 exhibits during the night in a variety of destinations.
There was rain in the early evening and the temperature dipped from 11 C. to 7 C. so you’ll notice coats, and overcoats even, on everyone except the exotic dancer. Lanois dressed in a long overcoat performed life for the crowd.
Lanois has proven that he can spring back from his accident. We’d love to see a video with singing. Trixie Whitley performed with Lanois although we haven’t got a video yet.
