Twitter integrates video, pics and makes the desktop more interactive if you can’t wait check out this DM

Twitter has updated its desktop/laptop interface in much the same way as it took back the iPad. Twitter for iPad the Gold Standard

The new site has hosted videos and pics. It also integrates with DailyBooth, DeviantART, Etsy, Flickr, Justin.TV, Kickstarter, Kiva, Photozou, Plixi, Twitgoo, TwitPic, TwitVid, USTREAMustream, VimeoVimeo, yfrog, and YouTube.

The refresh is needed: the old Twitter client is losing ground to Tweetme and other clients. Twitter has shown on the iPad that it can be a leader on it’s own product.

The new site will be rolled out over an undetermined period of time and so far very few people have it. If you get tired of hitting refresh in Twitter to see if YOU are upgraded, install Am I Upgraded Yet. It will keep an eye out for you.
