The store starts to shake at 22 seconds into the tape. The shaking continues with most of the shelves falling over. People exit and the quake appears to stop after 27 seconds. The tape then shows the same event from different closed circuit cameras in the store. The store wasn’t totally destroyed and later was a source of food for people. Some called it looting: some just called it survival.
The digital rights war rages on with one useless volley after another. Researching Faith Hill for Poor Taylor Swift showed everyone she can’t sing, I hit the Warner Music wall on YouTube.
“Faith Hill – Take Me As I Am (Video)”
“This video is unavailable.”
“This video contains content from WMG, who has decided to block it in your country.”
Makes sense to you right. Faith Hill is not a hot star anymore so she lives on her fan’s memory of the glory days in the 1990s when before she got married and had a family.
Country fans are loyal as long as you treat them right. They will keep buying an older star’s music and attending concerts for decades. However, people are accustomed to music on demand. There is no place to hide, especially when they get you to attempt harmony with Stevie Nicks. The band couldn’t play loud enough.
Swift’s history of bad live performances is legendary. Anyone who saw Taylor Swift host SNL knows she can’t sing. When she is recording, I assume she’s using Auto-tune to correct her pitch.
Many major vocalists use pitch correction. ( See Is it Live or Auto-Tuned) The fans expect perfect performances when they shell out $100 plus for tickets.
Bob Lefsetz embarrassed the young and sincere Taylor Swift after her SNL debacle. In a telephone call from London, she insisted to Lefsetz that she is “all natural all the time.” Bad mistake because she can’t sing very well.
