Tall people like Serena win the Green Car Challenge

Dr. Phil is no gentleman in beating Serena

With more nerve than common sense I was rooting for Serena Williams when Dr. Phil came on Jay Leno last night.

Serena, the perfect Amazon woman on the cover of ESPN , is tall, athletically awesome, and good looking – well gorgeous. I am allowed to admit that.

Last week Serena put in the best time of 55.84 on the Jay Leno Green Car contest. Her win proved my point that tall, athletic people win more of everything than the rest of us. They look better, act with more assurance and win at life’s myriad contests. Tall salespeople can outsell their short competitors.

Back to the Jay Leno Show, on comes Dr. Phil. Immediately I am in trouble as she claps her hands in glee to see Mr. Right-Answers best Jay Leno over and over again. It was like dueling egos only Jay is shorter and Dr. Phil won the interview.

Out on the race track for the “Green Car Challenge”, Dr. Phil was whining about everything and Jay ribbed him without mercy. Jay asked “Did he need a seat belt extender?”

Instead of losing, Dr. Phil beat everyone including Serena. Dr. Phil won even when he ran himself over which has to indicate some inner conflict.

Just goes to show Dr. Phil is no gentleman. I don’t know why women love him. He never lets them win an argument or a race.

It did prove my point. Tall people win.

I want that car. Don’t you love it! The colors are so outrageous. It will definitely make me look good riding around town.

Does anyone know why a “Green Car” is painted orange?

  1. Lol great story
But I think Dr. Phil beat a small woman in the race.
Because he said he should get points because she only weighted like 80 lbs
Amazon woman must weight 200 lbs

    I love JAY !!

  2. Thanks Jaylover – we like ‘em too.

Let’s see it’s rude to tell a woman’s weight so I’m not going to tell you what I found. Serena is a gentle 5’10” – tall for a woman

We have no idea of how tall Amazon women were just that they were warriors and obviously strong and brave. Perhaps I used the term loosely but I’d say she would be an Amazon and I mean that as a compliment.

  3. The tall overpowering Serena was beat out by a wisp of a girl named Malin Akerman.
Height and body mass has zero to do with being a winner, winning is all about self-esteem !
Need I remind you about the rubber tree plants.
Dr. Phil won because he oozes confidence and lives by the theory of do what you do, do well boy, do what you do, do well !
I think all us short people deserve a apology Mr.Pate !

  5. “He never lets them win an argument.” Or anyone for that matter.

Truer words were never spoken. He typically just cuts them off to get in the last word so he can inflate his own pathetic ego.
Wait a minute, no wonder Pate enjoyed this story so much. That’s him on the nose.

    Irony much?

  6. Ego is never pathetic. Ego is the stuff of life, ego, id and super ego – das Es, das Ich, and das Über-Ich.

Ego is only pathetic when it leaves the host for some other home to reside.
