The film BODY & SOUL: DIANA & KATHY chronicles the life of two of the country’s most remarkable advocates for people with disabilities. Diana Braun, who has Down syndrome, and Kathy Conour, who has cerebral palsy, met three decades ago and vowed to fight to live independent lives. Fearful of being shut away in a nursing home or forced into a state-run institution, Diana and Kathy broke the rules, escaped the system, and modeled a grand experiment in independent living.

PP3 deal with Homburg will build wheelchair accessible elevator for Confederation Centre Public Library to be renamed Homburg Public Library

Charlottetown – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Premier Robert Ghiz has formed a private public partnership (PP3) with businessman Richard Homburg to solve the problem of disability access in the Confederation Centre Library.

“Mr. Homburg has generously donated $200,000 to the Fathers of Confederation Trust who will in turn use the money to renovate the Confederation Library with an elevator that will accommodate wheelchairs,” said Premier Ghiz.

HP considers combining computer and printer groups

HP might improve their printer sales if they combined printers and computers and upgraded customer service

Ed – this is interesting since over at Dell community we are debating the merits of HP Dell customer service and the consensus is the printer support from HP is bad. HP might improve things if they changed the culture at the printer division but that is a tall order.
